Apryle - Just wanted to let you know that I had my test yesterday ... and I PASSED!! I have got to tell you, everything was just as you described. I studied over the weekend, reviewing tests, highlighted areas, the test questions you indicated. I did my memorizing and even studied in the car in the parking lot before going in!! I must admit, there were sooooo many DI questions on my test, and I really began to question myself. But, just a little over an hour later, I had my picture taken and walked out with my passing paper!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for a great learning experience. I hope that the rest of our group was able to walk away with as much retained information and knowledge that I did.Frank - Just writing to let you know that I passed my L&H Exam last Saturday. It was much harder than the practice tests though and took me the whole 2.5 hours. Thanks for your coaching!
Tammra - I think I got all the questions about disability insurance. Anyway, you can imagine. I didn't expect there was so much about disability insurance. That is really the only thing that stood out to me. I feel your practice exams were really harder than the real thing. That's a plus!!!!

Questions on the test were similar to the ones on our practice tests, but were phrased differently. Had to read several times in order to fully understand and not overlook little words such as (NOT, ANY, WITH OR WITHOUT, EXCEPT). Thanks again!

Notice the common denominator between ALL of our students quoted above, whether they thought the state exam was hard or easy - THEY ALL PASSED!!
We've been blessed to have an EXCELLENT record for success!! However, we have had a small handful of students who did not pass the state exam on their first attempt. Here is some insight one of those students shared with us, after passing their exam on their second attempt:
Mark - I did pass the exam Saturday. I ... believe ALL the questions I missed on the first exam, showed up on the second. I was weak on the Life Insurance portion the first time and do think I had around 75 of the [same type] questions... Whatever you miss, they load you up on the second and subsequent time. I just wish I had passed the first time and did not have to go through that again. You may want to pass that on to your students. Take care.
